Feb. 27-March 1: Nevermore Film Festival - Nevermore Film Festival is a juried competition festival that programs brand-new feature and short films with an emphasis on horror, science fiction, dark fantasy, animation, and mystery/thrillers from around the world.

Feb. 28: Black Genius Fest - Black Genius Fest is a free, family-friendly celebration marking the 100th anniversary of Black History Month. It will be at Black Wall Street from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

March 1: A Taste of Ireland in Raleigh - Featuring former World Irish dance champions and performers from Lord of the Dance and Riverdance, this live show blends energetic Irish dance, tap battles, melodic folk mash-ups, and heartfelt storytelling.  

March 1: Cozy Panda Presents: Pandas Supporting Local - This two-hour community event at Trophy Brewing will celebrate local businesses. Stop by for free crafts and goodies from participating vendors, plus a food truck and drinks available for purchase.    

March 1: Weinberg Lecture of Egyptology, “Recycling for Death: Coffin Reuse in Ancient Egypt and the Theban Royal Caches”at NCMA - In this lecture Kara Cooney, professor of Egyptian art and architecture at UCLA, discusses her latest book, Recycling for Death, a meticulous study of the social, economic, and religious significance of coffin reuse during the Ramesside and early Third Intermediate periods.
