Just before 10 a.m. Thursday, the Wake County deputies found the man allegedly responsible for sending another to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
At around 6:30 a.m., deputies responded to a stabbing on Kennebec Road in Willow Spring. When they arrived, they found a man with life-threatening stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital.

Deputies were searching for a man believed to be responsible for this stabbing for nearly four hours.
Just before 10 a.m., the Wake County Sheriff's Office found and arrested 34-year-old Johnny Rodriguez-Gonzalez in connection to this stabbing.
He's been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill/inflicting serious injury.
Willow Spring High School was on a code yellow lockdown for about an hour due to police activity in the area. The school is eight minutes from the stabbing location, but it is off Kennebec Road.
As of 9:05 a.m., the school was back to a code green, and students are safe.
