A car crashed into a power pole near Tryon Road and Gorman Street in Raleigh, leaving hundreds of customers in the area without power early Friday.
Duke Energy crews were on the scene trying to fix the pole at 6 a.m. They are currently blocking one lane of Tryon Road. Repairs are expected to take until at least 8:30 a.m., a Duke Energy spokesperson told WRAL.
