When are snow makeup days? Here is a list:
Wake County Public Schools
Wake County used some remote learning days during the winter weather, but opted to cancel school on Feb. 2. Now students, with the exception of Year-round Track 3 students, who were tracked out, have to make up that day.
All Wake County students, with the exception of Wake STEM students, will have school on Monday, Feb. 16. Wake STEM has a makeup day on Tuesday, Feb. 17, instead.
Orange County Schools
Orange County students are making up a Feb. 3 day when winter weather left road conditions dangerous. Feb. 16 was originally an optional workday for all schools, but it has been converted to a student day for traditional and year-round calendars.
Johnston County Schools
Johnston County Public Schools will make up the Feb. 5 snow day on March 9. That was originally a teacher workday but will be converted to a regular school day. The only schools not affected by this are Johnston County Career and Technical Leadership Academy or the Johnston County Early College Academy.
