North Carolina senate proposes cuts to ap test funding

State lawmakers have proposed changes in the state budget including the costs toward AP testing in North Carolina. Currently the state Department of Public Instruction covers the entire $99 costs. The proposed changes would cut $14 million from the budget. Lawmakers said the remaining $4.7 million would go towards the economically disadvantaged students.
