The school's statement said schools enter a Code Yellow lockdown if there is something in the community that may pose a threat to the school, but there is no imminent threat to the school.

The code yellow was issued due to police activity in the area.

School officials said this lockdown is unrelated to yesterday's events, when it was under a code red after a student was threatening others with a machete, according to police.
