An early morning shooting on Friday sent one man to the hospital in Durham.

Durham Police are investigating the shooting which happened at the intersection of NC-147/Durham Freeway and Fayetteville Street. They said officers responded to a shooting call just before 3:30 a.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
