Forecast calls for 100% chance of beer! WRAL, Fainting Goat Brewing team up for 'Weather Alert Day' ale

New brew! "Weather Alert Day"
On Thursday, Fainting Goat Brewing in Fuquay-Varina will launch "Weather Alert Day" beer. The hurricane blonde ale is a collaboration between the brewery and the WRAL Severe Weather Center.
WRAL meteorologist Chris Michaels will be among the first to get a taste when "Weather Alert Day" beer joins the lineup for Pint Night.
The beer and collaboration go far beyond just the brew. It's a part of something much bigger.
Hops for Hope
Fainting Goat Brewing Company will join other breweries at Hops for Hope, an event being held Sept. 13, 2025.
It will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the North Hills Midtown Park.
The event – in its 10th year – benefits Children's Flight of Hope, an organization that provides commercial flights for children undergoing medical treatment. Each team participating in the event has a $10,000 goal to meet to put toward Children's Flight of Hope.

Family Fun Day
Fainting Goat will also host a Family Fun Day on Aug. 23 from 12 to 4 p.m. There will be a food truck, music, bounce house, yard games, a cornhole tournament and much more.
There is a small admission fee for adults that will act as a donation toward Hops for Hope. A percentage of beer sales will also go toward the donation goal.
