Sept. 26-28: Benson Mule Days - Over 75 years strong, Benson Mule Days attracts nearly 30,000 people with rodeos, mule competitions, dazzling arts and crafts, mouthwatering food vendors, lively dances, and thrilling carnival rides.

Sept. 26-28: Pride: Durham, NC - Celebrate Pride with events throughout the weekend and all throughout businesses and streets in downtown Durham.

Sept. 26-28: Raleigh Tattoo Arts Festival - Get tattooed by artists from around the world during this event at the Raleigh Convention Center.

Sept. 27: Latino Arts Festival - The Latino Arts & Culinary Festival invites attendees to celebrate and learn about Latino culture and heritage at The Depot in Apex. There will be art, vendors, live music, food trucks and more.

Sept. 27: Reggae & Rum Festival - Listen to the Triangle's best Reggae bands while enjoying Mystic rum cocktails and free bourbon tasting all day. There will also be craft vendors. 

Sept. 27: Raleigh Tamale Festival - Green Road Community Center is the site for this event featuring a variety of food trucks, vendors, activities, performances, plus a competition for the best tamale in Raleigh.

Sept, 27: Midtown Music Fest - This event at North Hills Midtown Park will include live music, food trucks, festival vendors and beverage tents. Tickets start at $11. 

Sept. 29-Oct. 5: Selma Railroad Days Festival - This milestone festival promises something for everyone with carnival rides, model train exhibits, a parade, classic car show and live music.

Sept. 25: Lyle Lovett and his Acoustic Group - Whether performing solo, with his Large Band, or alongside his Acoustic Group, Lyle Lovett’s live shows reflect his proud Texas roots and showcase his wide range of musical influences. See him at DPAC.

Sept. 26: Boxyard celebrates Oktoberfest - Boxyard RTP is celebrating Oktoberfest, inviting the Triangle to celebrate Bavarian culture with an evening of brews, pretzels and fun.

Sept. 26: X Ambassadors - See the band at The Ritz. 

Sept. 28: Raphael Saadiq: No Bandwidth! - Praised by NPR’s KQED as “a masterclass in intimacy, vulnerability, and musical excellence,” the one-man-show offers a powerful blend of storytelling and emotionally evocative experience, with Saadiq guiding audiences through his celebrated more than 30 year career. Sept. 28: Carrboro Music Festival - This full day music festival features music acts at various locations all throughout Carrboro. You can listen to fun Latin beats on Weaver Street Market’s lawn or some hip-hop performances at the Cat’s Cradle Backroom — all for free.

Oktoberfest and more foodie fun

Sept. 23-28: Negroni Week at The Durham - Across the nation, people are celebrating Negroni Week and supporting a great cause, Slow Food, a global movement of local communities and activists that envisions a world where everyone can enjoy food and beverage that is good for them, good for the people who produce it and good for the planet.

Sept. 23-Oct. 5: Oktoberfest at Ponysaurus - Ponysaurus in Durham is celebrating Oktoberfest by brewing triple the amount of beer as last year and serving up a German-inspired food menu.

Sept. 26-28: OctoBullFest 2025 - Bull City Burger and Brewery celebrates all weekend with a special menu, new beer drops and more.

Sept. 27: Shrektoberfest - A Shrek-Themed Oktoberfest - This Shrek-themed Oktoberfest is a block party from noon to 6 p.m. outside DSSOLVR Durham. It will feature Shrek trivia, an onion eating contest, art market and costume contest. 

Sept 23-28: QueenBurger Turns 3: Birthday Week Bash at American Tobacco Campus - To mark the milestone, they’re throwing a week-long birthday bash packed with specials, community givebacks and a few surprise throwbacks.

Sept. 28: Zinchouse Oktoberfest Celebration - Enjoy a day of festive fun with live musi cby the incredible Little German Band, vendors, specialty food trucks, the seasonal beer feature and even a mechanical bull at ZincHouse. This event is open to those 21 years and older.
