A Fayetteville man is facing several charges after deputies said he caused a fire at a store in Cumberland County.

Deputies were called at 11:39 p.m. on Thursday to a reported fire at the Blue Sky Family Feed Store on Sunnyside School Road. Deputies said 53-year-old Larry Ezella Baldwin was seen on video pouring an ignitable fluid onto a pallet of firewood before leaving the store.

Deputies said a fire started from the fluid. 

Baldwin was arrested and now faces several charges, including burn commercial structure-unoccupied, breaking and entering and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $20,000 secured bond.

The investigation is still ongoing. Deputies said anyone with information is asked to call the Fire Investigation Unit Detective J. Morge at (910) 677-5573.
