Fayetteville police found and arrested a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run that happened late Friday night.
According to the Fayetteville Police Department, at around 10:15 p.m., officers responded to a crash involving a Nissan Altima and a motorcycle at the intersection of Ramsey Street and Fernwood Drive.

Officers' initial investigation determined the motorcyclist, 25-year-old Ean Alexander Gaskins, was driving south on Ramsey Street with a green light at the intersection of Fernwood Drive.
The Nissan driven by 43-year-old Roberto Coton Jr. was traveling north on Ramsey street when it turned left onto Fernwood Drive into the Gaskins's path. Gaskins was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Nissan left the scene of the crash. It was found abandoned less than half-a-mile from the crash.
On Saturday morning, Fayetteville police said they identified and found Coton as a suspect in this crash. He was taken into custody on charges of felony death by motor vehicle, felony hit and run, driving under the influence, failure to yield, operating a vehicle with no insurance, expired registration and expired inspection.
Coton is being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $675,000 secured bond.
