Anthony Baglione
WRAL meteorologist
Before joining the WRAL team, I worked closer to the coast in beautiful New Bern, North Carolina at WCTI. I covered everything from Hurricane Isaias to rip currents to an EF-3 tornado touchdown in our northern counties. Needless to say, I am very familiar with the variety of weather we get here in North Carolina! Before landing in New Bern, I got my on-air start at KWWL in Waterloo, Iowa, while I also wrapped up my final year at Iowa State University.

Enjoying time with my dog, Doppler, the beagle; spending time outside; working out; enjoying the beach, fishing
All of the trees! Yes, they can be problematic during allergy season, but they help to keep it feeling like the outdoors. Oh, and I can't forget, I am also a HUGE fan of the beach and the fact that it is not far away!
Storm chasing in the Plains during college and getting to see my first funnel cloud. I remember just being in awe at the power of nature!
