A Durham man surrendered to police months after a North Carolina Central University was found shot to death in his car.

Police did not say what connected suspect Keanan Odom Jr., 18, to Myles Amadi Gresham, 22, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Gresham was in Durham as a student at NCCU when he was shot in April and crashed his car into two other vehicles.

Odom is charged with first-degree murder, attempted armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery in connection with the incident. He was being held at the Durham County Jail on $250,000 secured bond.
