List of Veterans Day 2025 free meals and discounts

To thank veterans and current military members for their service, many businesses are offering free meals, restaurant deals, grocery store and retail discounts and more on Veteran's Day this year!

The majority of these offers take place on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2025 but some offers take place on other days or for multiple days. As always, with offers like these, they are valid at participating locations. Not every restaurant or retailer will be participating so you may want to call your local store before heading out.

Most of the businesses require that you present some form of military ID or proof of service. Restaurant offers are usually only for dine-in meals.

Restaurant Offers

Another Broken Egg Cafe: Veterans, active-duty, and retired service members can receive a free Patriot French Toast Combo and coffee on November 11, 2025 at at participating locations when you dine in and show military ID. There is a limit of one per person and no purchase is necessary. See the offer shared on their Facebook page. 

Applebee's: Applebee’s is offering Veterans and Active Duty Military who visit an Applebee’s restaurant on Tuesday, November 11 a free full-size entrée and a $5 Bounce Back Card that can be used on their next meal at Applebee’s. See the details on their website.

Bad Daddy's Burger Bar: Veterans and active duty military receive a free BD’s All American with cheese and classic side on Nov. 11, 2025 from 11am - 3pm with valid ID at participating locations. Valid for dine-in only. See the offer on their Facebook page. 

Bar Louie: Active and retired military and veterans receive a free craft burger Nov. 10-11, 2025 when you show military ID for dine-in only at participating locations. See the offer shared on their Facebook page. 

BJ's Restaurant: Former and current military who dine in the restaurant on 11/11/25 can receive a free BJ's Restaurant Chocolate Chunk Pizookie® with no min. food purchase required at participating locations. You'll need to present military ID or other proof of service, according to the e-mail sent to subscribers on Nov. 10. 

Blaze Pizza: On November 11, 2025, Veterans and active-duty military get a free 11” 1-topping pizza at participating Blaze Pizza locations. Valid in-store only when you show valid ID, military ID, or DD-214. No purchase is necessary. In addition, for every pizza purchased on Veterans Day, Blaze Pizza will donate $1 to Folds of Honor. Bob Evans: Veterans and Active Military can dine-in on Nov. 11, 2025 and get a free breakfast from a special menu. See the offer on their Facebook page. 

Bonefish Grill: Veterans, active-duty, and retired military and first responders can receive a free Bonefish Grill Bang Bang Shrimp and a non-alcoholic beverage on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations. Show proof of military service or military ID for this offer. See details in the e-mail sent to subscribers on Nov. 10. 

Bruegger's Bagels: Veterans and Active-Duty Service Members get a free cup of  Bruegger's Bagels hot or iced coffee on November 11, 2025 at participating locations. To get this offer, use the code FREECOFFEE for online or app orders or mention promo code 8227 when ordering in the bakery. Limit 1 per person. Bubba’s 33 in Fayetteville: All active, retired or former U.S. military can receive a free lunch on Nov. 11, 2025 at Bubba's 33 in Fayetteville. You can pick one of six entrees (Classic Cheeseburger, Bubba’s Bacon Burger, Bacon Chicken Mac-n-Cheese, Grilled Chicken Salad, Chicken Tender Salad or any 12-inch pizza) plus a choice of any Coca-Cola product, sweet tea/ice tea or coffee from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm on 11/11/25. Proof of service required including military or VA card, or discharge papers. They are located at 500 Westwood Shopping Ctr., Fayetteville, NC 28314.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Past and present armed service members get 10 free boneless wings and fries when you dine in on Nov. 11, 2025 and show valid military ID. Valid at participating locations, according to the e-mail sent to subscribers on Nov. 11. 

Caribou Coffee: Veterans and Active-Duty Service Members and spouses get a free large Coffee of the Day or Cold Press with show of valid military ID on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations. Valid in-store or in the drove-thru. See the offer on their Facebook page. 

Carolina Ale House: Veterans and military members receive a free Half Rack Rib Platter on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations when you show military ID. The offer is available at NC, FL, & TN locations for dine-in only. See the details on their Facebook page.

Chicken Salad Chick: Veterans and active military can receive a free meal (a scoop or sandwich and one side, plus a regular drink), on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 when you come in to the restaurant in uniform or with your military ID/DD214.  The offer is valid in-restaurant and in the drive-thru. Chick-fil-A: Participating Chick-fil-A® restaurants in the Greater Triangle Area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and various surrounding areas) are offering active-duty military personnel and veterans a free Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich or Chicken Biscuit by showing their military I.D. in person on Tuesday, November 11,  2025. No purchase necessary to claim the offer. Limit one per person.

Chili's Grill & Bar: All veterans & active military members get a free meal from a special menu on Veterans Day November 11, 2025 at participating Chili's Grill & Bar restaurants. The offer is available for in-restaurant only. Drink not included. See the details and menu on their website.

Chipotle: Buy one entrée and get a second entrée for free with a valid military ID on Nov. 11, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. local time at participating restaurants. The offer includes Chipotle bowls, burritos, salads and taco entrees. See the offer on their press release. 

Circle K: Veterans & active military members get a free hot or iced medium coffee or tea or hot chocolate at participating locations on Nov. 11, 2025 when you show proof of service at checkout. Limit 1 per person. See the offer shared on their Facebook page. 

City Barbeque: On November 11, 2025, Veterans and active US military receive a free City Barbeque meal including one sandwich, one individual side, and one regular beverage, according to an e-mail from their PR firm. Valid at participating locations.

Cracker Barrel: Veterans and military members can receive a free Sunrise Pancake Special on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations. See the offer on their website. 

Dave & Buster's: Veterans get a free entrée and a $10 Power Card. See their website for details. 

Denny's: On Monday, November 11, 2025, Denny's is offering a free Original Grand Slam® breakfast to active and retired military personnel for dine-in only at participating locations from 5 a.m. to noon local time with a valid military ID or DD 214. Some locations may open after 5 a.m., so check with your local restaurant for hours. See the details on their website.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit: US Military veterans and active duty members get a free Pulled Pork Sandwich on November 11, 2025 when you show your military ID in-store only at participating locations. See the offer on their website. 

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill: Veterans receive a free meal on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations. See the offer on their Facebook page. 

Firehouse Subs: Veterans and active duty service members get a free sub with the purchase of another when you show your valid military ID or wear your uniform in-store on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations, according to the e-mail sent to subscribers on Nov. 11. 

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers: Offering all Veterans a meal card for a free combo meal at participating locations when you visit your local Freddy's on 11/11/25. The meal card is valid through 12/31/2025. No purchase is necessary to receive the offer. See the offer details on their website.

Golden Corral: The annual Golden Corral Military Appreciation Night will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 4pm – close. U.S. Military (retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard or Reserves). will receive a free “thank you” meal. See the details on their website.

Hooters: Veterans eat free from a select menu on 11/11/25. See the offer posted on their Facebook page. 

IHOP: On Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 7am - 7pm, IHOP is offering Veterans and Active Duty Military a free Red, White & Blueberry Pancake Combo order for dine-in only at participating restaurants. There is a limit of 1 per guest and Military ID or proof of service is required. Offers may vary by location so check with your local IHOP for details. See the offer on the IHOP website.

Krispy Kreme: Veterans and active military personnel can receive a free small coffee, hot or iced, and a free doughnut of choice on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations. The offer is valid in-shop or at drive-thru and there is a limit of one per person. No military ID proof or purchase is necessary, according to an e-mail from their PR folks.   

Logan's Roadhouse: Veterans and active military get a free meal from a special menu on November 11, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.at participating locations when you show proof of service. Valid for din-in only. See the offer on their website. 

Menchie's: Veterans and active military personnel get their first 6 ounces of frozen yogurt for free on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at participating locations. Must present valid military ID or proof of service. See the details on their website.

Metro Diner: Veterans and active duty military get 50% off your dine-in meal on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations. See the offer details on the e-mail sent to subscribers on Nov. 11. 

Milton's Pizza: On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Veterans and Active Duty Military can enjoy a free entrée or free buffet. They are serving their full buffet from 11am- 8pm on Veterans Day and will be open from 11am-9pm on November 11. See their website for details. 

Mod Pizza: Veterans, active-duty military and military spouses get 50% off a Mod-Size pizza or salad on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations. See the details on their Facebook page post. 

Outback Steakhouse: Military personnel get a free Aussie 3-course meal on Nov. 10-11, 2025 when you show your military ID to your server at participating locations for dine-in only. See the offer on their Facebook page. 

Paris Baguette: Get a a free pastry with any purchase on Veterans Day. No ID required. See their Facebook page for details. 

Perry’s Steakhouse: On November 11, 2025 from 4 p.m. to close, active or former military can receive one complimentary Perry’s Dinner-cut Pork Chop on Veteran’s Day when accompanied by one paying guest who orders a dinner entrée. Military ID or official record showing US military service is required as well as a reservation. For those veterans dining with other veterans or alone, you'll receive a Dinner-cut Pork Chop for half-off original price. P.F. Chang's: Veterans receive a free lunch at P.F. Chang's on Nov. 11, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at participating locations. Valid for dine-in only at participating locations with show of military ID or proof of service. Playa Bowls: Veterans receive a free Bowl in-store on Nov. 11, 2025 with show of military ID at participating locations. See the offer on their Facebook page. 

QDOBA: Veterans and active-duty military get free QDOBA medium chips & queso, queso diablo, guacamole or choice of salsa in-restaurant on Nov. 11, 2025 when you show military ID. Red Robin: Veterans and active duty military receive a free Red's Big Tavern Burger and Bottomless Side when dining in on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations. Proof of military service required. See the details on their website.

Ruby Tuesday: On Veterans Day, U.S. Veterans, Retired, or Active Duty Military receive a free Endless Garden Bar Entrée or Add-on when you show proof of military service. Sheetz: On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Sheetz is offering all veterans and active duty military personnel a free half turkey sub and a regular size fountain drink. The offer includes extras & add-ons to the sub. Sheetz is also offering a free car wash to veterans and active duty military. This offer applies to the $9 car wash option and is available at Sheetz stores that have a car wash. Military ID or proof of service required. Showmars: Active duty military and retired service members receive their choice of a free entrée or sandwich & side on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations. Valid for dine-in only with show of military ID or proof of service. See the offer details on their Facebook page.

Starbucks: On November 11, 2025, Starbucks is offering Veterans, military service members and military spouses a free tall 12 fl oz brewed coffee (hot or iced) at participating locations in the restaurant or the drive-thru. Cold Brew not included. TCBY: Veterans and active-duty personnel get their first 6 oz of frozen yogurt free on Nov. 11, 2025 at participating locations with show of military ID. See the offer on their website. 

Texas Roadhouse: On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Texas Roadhouse is offering free meal vouchers to Veterans and active military from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Proof of service is required including military or VA card or discharge papers. The vouchers can be redeemed through May 31, 2026, for one of 10 select entrees and two sides plus a Coca-Cola product, sweet tea/iced tea or coffee.

Tijuana Flats: Veterans and active military get 50% off an adult entrée on 11/11/2025 for in-store orders when you mention promo code VETDAY25 at checkout and show valid military ID. Wendy's: Offering Veterans or Active-Duty Military Members a free Wendy's Breakfast Combo with no purchase required, during breakfast hours on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at participating locations. To get this offer, notify the crew member at the register or showing your VetRewards Card, according to an e-mail from the company. 

Ziggi's Coffee:  Veterans and active-duty military members can get a free 16oz drink or 20oz Dirty Soda when you show valid military I.D., or other proof of service at the register. Not valid with in-app orders. See the offer on their Facebook page. 

Grocery Store and Drug Store Discounts

Food Lion: On Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, Food Lion is offering U.S. active-duty military personnel and veterans a 10% discount when they present their MVP card and military identification at checkout in-store only. It is not valid for delivery or pick-up. Pharmacy, alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, lottery, postage stamps and services are excluded from this offer. See their store for details.

Harris Teeter: Veterans and active duty military personnel will receive an 11% discount off your grocery purchase on 11/11/25 when you show military ID. See ad or store for details.

Big Air Raleigh Trampoline Park: Veterans and troops jump for free on Nov. 11, 2025. See the offer shared on their Facebook page. 

Dollar Tree: On Nov. 11, 2025, retired military and active duty military receive 10% off a purchase of $10 or more at participating locations. See their ad for details.

Great Clips: On November 11, 2025, veterans and active service members can go into any U.S. Great Clips salon and get a free haircut or a free haircut card to use later. In addition, non-military customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at Great Clips salons can pick up a free haircut card that they can give to an active service member or veteran as a token of thanks. See the details on their press release.

Lowe's: Military families get 10% off everyday on most full price items at participating locations. See the details on their website.

North Carolina Zoo: The North Carolina Zoo is offering free admission for military personnel, veterans, and their spouses. This includes free admission for up to three additional accompanying guests for Military Appreciation Week running Nov. 8-14, 2025. There will be a Military Appreciation Table at the admission booths where you can present your valid ID and pick up your vouchers. The offer is for active duty, reserve, veteran and retired military personnel and military spouses and is only available for admission purchased on-site.
