The president of the Durham-based company accused of not paying its employees appeared in court on Monday.
Although the case was originally listed as being on the docket for final resolution, the case was once again continued, with another hearing now scheduled for late January.

Kristen Picot's charges are misdemeanors for writing worthless checks. At the conclusion of the court hearing Monday, Crystal Graves, one of the former employees who says she is owed money, left in tears, frustrated by what she perceives as a lack of accountability.
Previously, Picot missed court while her attorney said she was hospitalized. At a subsequent court hearing, WRAL Investigates asked Picot a number of questions about when employees will be paid, which she refused to answer.

The company's founder, Courtney Jordan, and Chief Financial Officer, Nicholas Gallardo, are facing felony charges, yet police still have not been able to locate them. The company and its executives are also facing lawsuits from employees around North Carolina and other states who say they were not paid.
The state's Department of Labor is also investigating employees' claims.
