While adoption is needed for many children who do not have a home. all too often today, children are "sold" to a "better" family. This has culminated in a 1.4 billion dollar industry. Even the adoption attorneys say it is a business - but should be called child trafficking.
At the time my children were placed with the Needhams, there were over a half million children in foster care awaiting a home, including almost 30,000 infants. They had a chance to avoid litigation and be a true hero. Instead, they took my only children, when they already had one. It simply is cruel and selfish.

VISITATION
Experts testified about the importance of mothers being present in their children's lives for their emotional and behavioral development. Instead of increasing my visitation, it was decreased.

My children were not thriving and it showed when I took them to the doctor. They were now growing adequately and were delayed in their major milestones.

Motion after motion was filed to terminate my visitation and sometimes I was denied court-ordered visits. They even assumed the role of the twin's parents before any order of adoption was filed.

They were never penalized and a make-up visit was never scheduled. When I went to Canada, I was owed extra days for loss visits.
CONFIDENTIALITY
The truth is being hidden behind the seal of confidentiality. This law is intended to protect the identities of the parties, not to protect the proceedings from accountability.
